Andrea Carranza is a clinical psychologist from Costa Rica with studies in art therapy and psychoanalysis. She is one of the founders and current General Director of Sueña en Colores. She founded adentro as a result of her studies in Mindfunless. She actually works as a therapist at a private in San José and in Nosara, Guanacaste.

In her own search for meaning Andrea became fascinated with psychoanalysis. She studied in the University of Social Sciences of Central America where she concluded her Masters in Clinical Psychology with honors. Being a teacher of the Creativity and Psychoanalysis class she developed an integral perspective of mental health.

She is dedicated to investigating and studying Mindfulness. She has participated in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) courses. She is certified as a Mindfulness facilitaror by the Mexican Mindfulness Institute, which is recognized by the International Mindfulness Teaching Association.
